Vince Cori is Brad’s grandfather who sadly passed away this last weekend. He’s always been a big influence on Brad’s life and he will be missed greatly. His family wrote the following tribute to Vince that we thought would be nice to share with everyone.Vincent James Cori

At the age of 81, Vince entered peacefully into eternal rest Saturday, Feb. 13th. He follows his parents Mary and James brothers Benard and Clement. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Vince enlisted in the Navy for a four year tour of duty. Upon leaving the Navy he enrolled at the University of Miami and graduated with a degree in Structural Engineering. He helped design bridges and other structures on the east coast. Working in California, he designed structures for the military and space agency before retiring in 1991.Vince loved the game of tennis and was an avid player. He enjoyed skiing, sailing, wood carving and poker with his many friends. He loved his cats and had a special place in his heart for all animals large and small.He leaves behind his beloved wife Rosalind, who he met in Pasadena, Ca. They married in Arcadia, Ca. in 1978, moved to Maryland then to Carlsbad, Ca. They loved the beauty of the Northwest and moved to Coeur d'Alene in 2002.Vince leaves behind his children Christine, Janet and Bill, grandchildren Bradley, Scott, Billy, Arianna, Aaron, Mark and Tim Jr. and great grandchildren Claire, Charlee, Timmy, Roni, Dani, Mark, Ryan and Josh.Vince was a loving, caring and a straight forward man. He made an impact on everyone who knew him. He was a great husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be loved and remembered in our hearts forever. We miss you.
